Our Adria olives bring a Mediterranean flavour to the glass or tin - and to the kitchen: harvested in the sunny regions of Spain and Egypt, carefully processed and available in many varieties: green or blackened, with stone, pitted, stuffed with paprika or finely sliced. Whether in the handy 370 ml jar, the 935 ml storage jar or the 850 or 4,250 ml catering tin - our range adapts to every kitchen.
The flavour starts on the tree: green olives are harvested early and have a firm, slightly bitter profile. Blackened olives lose most of their bitter substances through the oxidation process and therefore have a milder flavour. Perfect for all Mediterranean dishes, as a tapa, on pizza and pasta - and of course as a classic eye-catcher in a martini glass. If you prefer a creamy, intense flavour, turn them into a fine olive paste (tapenade) with capers and anchovies. This is how our Adria olives show what they are all about: Mediterranean, versatile, indispensable.
The count shows how many fruits with stones there are per 100 grams of raw product. A count of 28/32 therefore corresponds to around 280-320 olives per kilo. The lower the count, the larger the fruit. Important to know: The calibre cannot be transferred one-to-one to pitted or stuffed olives. Factors such as harvest time, climatic conditions - such as temperature and rainfall - and origin influence the size of the stone and the composition of the pulp - and therefore the calibre.
